The street presents in original red brick under a tiled roof, restored rather than replaced. Behind the retained frontage, the heritage rooms carry an open fireplace, original window joinery and a velvet sofa in the front living room - the parts of the house that were kept.
The rear is new: dark cladding and brick against a pool and terrace, with a marble-and-timber kitchen opening the plan to the garden. A sculptural black pendant anchors the space above the island. Featured in Australian House & Garden.
